The road to Jibacoa
These glimpses into Cuban life were taken from the window of a taxi heading eastward from Havana towards the small town of Jibacoa. It was late afternoon on a summer Sunday, the time when many Cubans travel back to their jobs after spending the weekend with their families. Half the country seemed to be moving along its highways, but smaller towns seemed unaffected. There, life went on as usual.
